PECAL certification (Spain, DGAM)
The Spanish state certification of a quality management system against PECAL 2110 or 2310 (the Spanish editions of AQAP). It needs the RID and ISO 9001 or EN 9100 first, and the initial audit expects prior PECAL contract experience.

What it is
The PECAL are the Spanish quality publications based on NATO's AQAP. A contract that names one must be met whether or not the supplier holds the certificate, under the oversight of a DGAM quality representative (RAC); the certificate itself is granted by the DGAM after an initial audit, and renewal and surveillance audits are done by certification bodies recognised by the CMDIN.
To apply, the company must hold a current registration with the DGAM (the RID) and a third-party ISO 9001 certificate from an ENAC-accredited body (EN 9100 for PECAL 2310), with a scope no narrower than the PECAL request; PECAL lapses if that certificate lapses.
The DGAM issues a quote for the fee. UNVERIFIED: no fee amount, processing time or validity period is published.
