What it is
Register the organisation on the Funding and Tenders Portal through a six-step wizard. A nine-digit PIC is issued immediately when the wizard is complete. An EU Login account is needed. Incomplete drafts are deleted after one year.
Validation by the Central Validation Service (legal entity form, a recent VAT extract, a registration extract or the statutes) is required only if a proposal is selected for funding; for many grants REA performs it. A Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) must be appointed to update the organisation's data and to handle electronic signatures. A financial capacity assessment applies to grants, except for public bodies and certain other cases.
